Jorge Heredia is an award-winning producer, actor, writer, and television host, born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. With Spanish and German heritage, Heredia began his career in television, with many guest appearances including on the CBS drama Touched by an Angel, before becoming a familiar on-camera presence as host of the Emmy®-winning international variety series ¿Qué Pasa Miami?—work that earned him a PAOLI award.
Balancing performance with storytelling behind the camera, Heredia expanded into producing and writing across film and television while continuing to work as a host and anchor for Spanish-language and international outlets, including Noti-puntos52 and Lalo y Amigos. He is also an environmental and humanitarian advocate, serving as an Ambassador for EarthX and spokesperson for Fossil Rim Wildlife Center.
Recent and upcoming work includes the sci-fi feature Persephone (producer/actor), the thriller Dark Mode, and the documentary The Eagle Obsession (co-executive producer), which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2025. Heredia also co-exec produced the companion documentary Beyond the Eagle Obsession: 50 Years of Fandom.
